Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. Please read before subscribing.
No commitment before you see where you stand.
Before you pay anything, you receive a free reputation report — where your business ranks, how your reviews compare to nearby rivals, why you are or aren't getting found. That's yours to keep regardless. If you choose to subscribe after reading it, you're doing so with a clear picture of where you start. There is no setup fee. Because of this, we do not offer refunds on monthly subscriptions once a billing period has begun — you came in with eyes open, and you can cancel anytime to stop future billing.
Monthly Subscriptions — No Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are not refundable. You may cancel at any time; billing stops at the end of your current month. We do not retroactively refund previous months or the current month.
Why: there is no lock-in and no contract. You are never committed beyond the month you are in. Cancel, and it stops. That structure makes refunds redundant — you are not trapped, and you were never misled about what the service does.
Annual Subscriptions — Pro-Rated Refund on Cancellation
If you subscribed annually and cancel before the end of your year, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription, pro-rated by the number of full months remaining in your subscription period. This courtesy applies because annual subscribers commit longer up-front and deserve flexibility if circumstances change.
The current month is not refunded. Partial-month fractions are not refunded.
How to Cancel
Two ways:
- Use the self-service portal link in any Paddle invoice receipt email, or
- Email hello@presenciastudios.com and we will initiate cancellation with Paddle within two business days.
For annual cancellations requesting a pro-rated refund, we will confirm the refund amount in writing before processing.
Processing Time
Pro-rated refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Once initiated, funds typically appear on your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund in exceptional circumstances — for example, if we materially fail to deliver the service as described in the Terms of Service. Such refunds are not a right and are not guaranteed.
Chargebacks
We prefer to resolve concerns directly. Please email us before disputing a charge with your card issuer — in most cases we resolve questions within 48 hours, and keep the record clean on both sides. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account termination and recovery action.
