Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Presencia Studios collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Who We Are
Presencia Studios (the "Service," "we," "us") is a digital service operated as a sole proprietorship from the Republic of Turkey. For privacy-related inquiries, reach us at hello@presenciastudios.com.
What We Collect
From our inquiry form:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your email address
- Basic information about your business (location, type, existing website if any)
- Any content you provide — menus, hours, photos — for use on the website we build for you
From active subscribers:
- Your preferred domain name
- Subscription identifiers provided to us by Paddle (not payment details — see below)
Automatically, as technical data:
- Standard server logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps)
- No marketing trackers, no third-party advertising cookies
What we do NOT collect:
- Payment-card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses. That information goes directly to Paddle (see below).
Why We Collect It
We use your information to:
- Build and deliver your custom website
- Provide ongoing service, support, and updates
- Communicate with you about your subscription
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing by third parties.

A note on domain registration: The custom domain included with your subscription is registered by Presencia Studios in our own name. We are the legal registrant of record. No personal information about you or your business is transmitted to the domain registrar as part of this process. See Section 8 of the Terms of Service for the full ownership arrangement.
International Data Transfers
Our hosting provider (Netlify) and payment processor (Paddle) are located outside Turkey. By using our service, you consent to your data being processed in those jurisdictions with appropriate safeguards.
How Long We Keep It
- Active subscribers: for the duration of your subscription, plus 24 months after cancellation for tax and dispute-resolution purposes required by Turkish law.
- Inquiry-form submissions that do not become subscribers: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Legal and tax records: retained for the period required by applicable Turkish law.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live — EU and UK (GDPR), California (CCPA), Turkey (KVKK), and similar regimes elsewhere — you have rights including:
- Access to the data we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations
- A copy of your data in a portable format
- Objection to certain uses of your data
To exercise any of these, email hello@presenciastudios.com with your request. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Our marketing website uses only essential cookies required for basic site operation. We do not run advertising trackers, cross-site user profiling, or third-party marketing cookies.
The websites we build for customers follow the same minimum-cookie approach by default, unless the customer specifically requests analytics integration.
Security
We use standard technical safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and minimal data collection. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you by email within 72 hours.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 14 days in advance.
